My name is Mark Wheawill and I originally founded Uplifted Marketing in 2018 to help other people market their businesses as well as my own music businesses and have ran several successful businesses of my own including Onlinesoundproduction.com in the late nineties/early noughties which I first started running from my bedroom as a mail order retail business when I lived at home with my parents. It went on to turn over more than £30k in the first few years when the business expanded with a presence on the world wide web and it provided a part-time wage whilst I was studying for a Joint Hons Degree at University College Warrington.
I was the Managing Director of TSYT RECORDINGS Ltd which was a record company and I worked in the music industry for a time as an Electronic Dance Music Artist/Record Producer and DJ and I have presented regular radio shows on community radio stations such as Radio Wishing Well and Mayhem Radio in my spare time in the past. I have also worked for large organisations such as Asda Stores Ltd, O2 Communications and AQA in many different roles.
As well as having over 20 years of experience in business and an extensive background in the music and media industry, I have also gained many qualifications over the years. I have a (BA) Joint Honours Degree in Media Studies with Business Management and I.T. which I studied for at University College Warrington and which was an intensive 3 year course and was awarded by the University Of Manchester in 1999.

I am also an author of two books including "How to market and sell your music and survive the music business in the 21st century" which is available from Amazon and I have read numerous books and literature and I have watched many videos on different types of Marketing strategies and I have used and applied many different Sales & Marketing methods to my own businesses in the past including other organisatons. I continue to read many books and keep myself up to date with new techniques for marketing products and services in the 21st century and I know what works and what doesn’t work from personal experience and helping clients.
